Does the xw8200 workstation support dual core Xeon CPUs?

I couldn't find any information in the documentation or online.  It seems that the dual core Xeon models came out after this workstation was released but the CPU socket used is the same.  The Dell 670 workstation was in the same situation but Dell released a bios update for dual core support.  Did HP do the same?  I can't seem to find that info either.

[ Edited ]

These are the product specifications for the xw8200.  If the processor you want to upgrade to is not list then it's unknown what will work outside of that list.

Go to HP Partsurfer and enter your product number (not the model number or many selections will appear). The scroll down to the processor section.

Review this article on a second processor.
