HP Recommended

Hi,

I just formated my computer and installed xp, but I cant seem to find the drivers for the computer. More than anything i need the lan driver. I search the forums but the links that were given are old?

Does anybody know where i can find the drivers for Compaq SR5502FH?

Thank you

Greetings @Elisha2,

Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Forums.

I understand that you are getting BSOD on your computer while using Utorrent.

Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.

Don't worry, I will be glad to help.

Have you run a system test on your computer? Click here

Recommend you to uninstall the wireless adapter from device manager.

Delete the driver when prompted.

Restart the computer and install this driver

Let me know if this helps.

Hey @Chimney_83

Thank you for you answer!
Btw your comment appears in a wrong topic?!

Anyways, today I sent the machine again to a certified HP service center and I hope that I wont need to install the driver that you suggested.
Which version is it btw? I tried to rollback the driver to 6.xx which was released in 2014 and the problem was not fixed... Then I tried a few of the newer versions of the driver but again no luck

I forgot to say that I also ran the HP PC Diagnostics UEFI wireless test... and the adapter passed it
