Mine quit too but I just pinned it on some new Security software I just loaded. Haven't had time to investigate. I'll work on it this weekend and see what I can figure out.

I see an issue with the "current conditions" function, possibly due to the Weather Underground making a change to their data format.  I need some time to investigate and produce a patch to fix it.

I will update on my wiki site - if you are interested, please go there for info.

Your Link doesn't work for the workaround.  How Can I get it?  Was interseted last year but didn't have time to mess with it.  Also, somehow I missed HP's $125 offer how did that work? Is it still available?

Please try my link again - I had to kick the webserver to get it going.  You should be able to access the instructions to get dreamscreen working again.

Regarding HP offer, I dont know about the terms, I'm not an hp employee.  I was a complainer about their business model and think I complained enough they offered me some compensation to have me stop complaining.

Do you know anything about the offer? I'm just seeing this.

There was never an update about how to use the weatherunderground API.  I just assumed you never got it working again.  :smileyindifferent:

I am indeed using the Weather Underground API to pull local as well as my data which is uploaded from a Davis Instruments collector.

I put more effort at the time into tidying up the Windows version - instruction are here: https://www.fiospace.com/wiki/pages/y5T570/Windowsbased_Solution.html

If you need Linux support, you can look at the python script above to sort out the URL parameters.  Let me know.

Havent tested on Windows 10, so just googled the issue.

From what I read on the net, the recommendation to solve this Python 2.7 and Windows 10 concern is to Install pywin32

find it on sourceforge

post if this works, so others can benefit.

I was a bit over zealous and upgraded before even really trying....I downgrade back to you prescribed version and it running as it should however when I do the local host verificaiton I get the following errors. I also remember seeing something you posted about ordering an API for weatherbut but now I can't find that detial.  Am I missing critical step?
