Microsoft stopped support of Windows XP in April 2014 -- almost 3 years ago.

Microsoft will stop support of Windows Vista in April 2017 -- in a few months.

It's time for you to either replace your computer with one running Windows 7 or 8 or 10.

Or, think that about installing some version of Linux, e.g., www.xtra-pc.com

that can work well on "old" hardware.
