I recently purchased a HP Pavilion Desktop - 510-p020 thnking that the advertised "multiple display capable" meant I could use the normal VGA to DVI connections. However, this tower only has VGA and HDMI connections. How can I setup 2 monitors for dual monitor access using VGA and HDMI connections? Do I need to now buy a monitor with HDMI connection? If, so how would I set the monitors up for dual access. I just want to make sure if another purchase is necessary that I purchase the right accessories.

@Dman2015, welcome to the forum.
Here is a guide that will help you understand what can be done with adapters. If you already have two monitors, you can use adapters to connect them; HDMI (digital) to VGA (analog) or VGA to HDMI or DVI (digital), etc.
If you want to buy a new monitor, I suggest getting one with a HDMI connector. You will get a far better picture with digital than you will with analog.
