ENVY 23 TouchSmart (model 23-d270er) : how to connect second monitor?

23-d270er
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hi!

I have HP Envy23 TouchSmart 23-d270er. I want to connect second monitor and use it in the same time. But there is no any HDMI/DVI outputs on device.

In user manual from HP I can see the picture where there is a special panel and it has a HDMI port

but my device is not have any panel. Only plug on this place.

Is it possible to connect second monitor via onboard connectors "UMA_DVI" or "MXM_DVI" and another?

May be i can buy a "panel with dvi connector" (like on picture in manual) for this type of chasis? I was trying to find it in HP parts catalog but there is no info.

Thanks

ENVY 23 TouchSmart (model 23-d270er) : how to connect second monitor?

Hi,

From the following specs:

    http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=c03847767

It has NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M card  already. Now, one thing you can do: using USB-DVI or USB-HDMI option.

Regards.

Thanks for the info. I did not know that the usb-video cards exists.

And yet ... Why buying of panel and cable does not make sense?

1) Buy this panel (shure this part should be in the HP parts catalog)

2) and buy this cable

3) Insert one end of the cable into the panel and another end to the MXM_DVI connector on board

Impossible?
