Freezing, hanging and Slow Performance

My system has been experiencing extreme low performance, hanging and freezing during operation. Very slow to boot and shutdown. what can I do to solve this problem

What is your computer model and what operating system are you running?

 

1. Scan your system for viruses, spyware and malware

2. Run Disk cleanup

3. Defrag your hard drive

4. Run Cookienator (it's on the web and it's free)

 

Now how does it run?

 

If it's still slow then run a set of hardware diagnostics to make sure that your hardware is not having issues.
