Hello. I'm looking for upgrade my graphic card - current one is AMD Radeon R7 240 ( 2GB DDR3 dedikeret) (factory one) - and as potential replacement / upgrade: MSI Radeon RX 480 Gaming X 4GB. My question is: Will it work with my computer or should i look other ways to upgrade. Will this card fit in the cabinet on the moderboard Orchid2-S (MS-7906 ver 1.7) Yes i'm aware replacement of power supply may be essential (430W output). Desktop still have original configuration. Thanks in advance for any advice.

@Royhermod, welcome to the forum.

 

This video card is 10.87" in length and requires a minimum of 500W to operate properly.  You can tell if it will fit by measuring from the Back I/O plate to the front of the case.  It requires a 8-pin supplemental power cable.  Also, I recommend a PSU with at least 600W to give you additional power for peak needs.  I like Corsair products.  You should measure the PSU that you choose to assure there is enough space for it to fit into the case.
