Product: Envy 24-n014
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have the 24-n014 and tried the method of plugging into the hdmi in and pressing the mode button next to it and am not getting anything to the display. Should it work? I am using a VGA to HDMI converter out of my laptop.

All this display shows after I push the button is "Game Mode - No Video Signal."

@trabixter, welcome to the forum.

 

No, it will not work.  You are going from a VGA (Analog) port to a HDMI (Digital) port.  This is not possible.

That's what the converter is for. It converts the signal from analog to digital.
