HP 2509m monitor jumps


For some reason my monitor keeps jumping to the top of the page.  THis happens even if

I keep my mouse on the scroll bar.


I'll be in the middle of a paragraph and it just jumps!  It happen every few minutes. Thank you,

Could be an issue with the signal from the PC, specifically the vertical sync signal. Are you using a VGA connection, or DVI/HDMI? If you set the PC to run at a lower monitor resolution, does it still occur? I'd try unplugging and plugging the monitor cable several times on each end, in case there is some debris causing a poor connection on the sync lines.
