HP Display not compatible with W10

Pavilion 23cw
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Attempting to upgrade to W10 but "display is not compatible" and see vendor.  Posted to HP Facebook page last night - no response.  Upgrade offer expires tomorrow.

HP Display not compatible with W10

Hi,

 

What is your machine (full model) ? The message is NOT for the monitor but for the video card (or graphics card) on your machine.

HP Display not compatible with W10

Resolved video card issue, then more hurdles, last stymied by Windows 7 pro installed on a separate drive and message low disk space - error code oxc1900200. I gave up!
