HP Displayport issue with mirrored Screen and Extron Switch IN1604DTP

E231 / DC8200

We installed an AV controlsystem for a school. The school has provided a PC system themselves.

The HP Display is connected via displayport to the computers graphic card while the VGA output of the graphic card is connected to the Extron IN1604DTP AV-switch which provides the signal to the projector via HDBT.

When the PC is switched off (eighter after hold time or manually) for more than a couple of hours the local monitor will stay black after the boot sequence while the projector connected via VGA shows the mirrored content. This also happens when the PC goes to sleepmode! The IT guy has already maximized the time before sleep as a solution during the day.

The problem is not encountered if the PC is switched off and back on right after again.

NOTE: There is no control from the Extron system to the PC!

Has anyone ever had a similar problem??
