I paid $1,000.00 for this desktop about 6 months ago.  When I got it home from Geek Squad there was ink spots on the display when typing that covered the entire screen.  I was extremely annoyed by this, I wondered, "what the heck is this?"  It appears all over the desktop every now and then look like black ink stains or spots that covers the entire screen and then it goes away.  WTH is this on my $1,000 desk top purchased from Best Buy, did I get ripped off?  Help! This annoying black pixels (look like) that takes over my desktop from time to time is driving me totally insane!  I do not know what to do.  Does anyone know if this display is a piece of crap as I have it all hooked up and installed and I hate to return it by lugging it back to the darn store for repairs, it has only been 6 months and the device was opened brand new.  What's up?

Congrats that what you get for buying hp I almost have the same problem as you execpt  my PC was £500 and It was a all in one! But guess what! I got ripped off badly you know why? Because The specs are a outdated AMD proccesor that no one even heard about and you know how much it costs on amazon? A suprising £30! Amazing right? Oh heres the best part you know the ram I got? Its a epic 800mhz 4GB Ram! They never said it was 800mhz they never said that this ram costs £8 on amazon LOL so uptill now its £38 Yeah? Graphics card? Sure the price is approx £20-40 because Its sucks! Any game you want to play runs at a max 18FPS and has to be BELOW 720p

Total inc. Cr** £100-120

Real price £500

why so expensive? Because of its fabulous mirror display (you can see your face at 8k display)

what I'm trying to say is you got ripped off badly and HP wont help because you got it from best buy great customer service right?

You know whats better? You cant refund it cause you used it

and those spots are DEAD PIXELS so that means you got a faulty HP PC just like me! Your display is broken and you got ripped off.

Never buy from HP go buy from DELL or custom build your own by going to:

Custom build a epic PC worth the price (lifetime warranty for hardware) (expensive VAT but worth it)

http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk

Or if you  want it SUPER CHEAP and want to build it with your bare hands go to Techsource's channel and he'll show you EPIC gaming PCs starting from $350 to $5800+ He'll also show a video on building them!

Heres the link tell him I saved you from hell 😉 :

Refund your faulty PC immiediatly or just sell it trust me if you dont you will regret it not listening to me just like I regretted it when I did'nt refund mine.

Thanks for your fabulous feedback- I feel so much better now. You think if I had known HP sold defective products I would have spent my hard earned dollars on this BS!

While your feedback is somewhat informative - I also find it to be offensive and not helpful at all. I am already dissappointed that I was beaten out of my money, yet you want to put salt in the wound. Ouch!! I am still on my warranty, maybe I will exchange or just chalk it up as a lost and that's a **bleep** shame!!!!

No problem-ish

Just refund it trust me it will get obsolete in a few months time it even looks like a cheap mac knock off

If your on a tight budget and need a trustworthy company you should get a mac mini which is starting from £399 or if

you want a laptop you will have for a LONG LONG LONG time with a beautiful 4K UHD Display! And a stunning 16 GB DDR4 RAM 2113MHZ and a awesome INTEL CORE I7 PROCCESOR (6TH GEN) And...Problems opening applications? Really slow? Well this 4K TOUCHSCREEN laptop has a 512GB SSD (a day and night difference between how fast a ssd is against an HDD) and most importantly the graphics card which is a

2GB 960M

This is a great 4K touch laptop that is great for games and work and multitasking and this is one of the thinnest beast laptops EVER the brand is:

DELL

Price? Is 100% worth it:

£1649

Heres the link to it (theres cheaper options too! And dont pick the HDD ones)

http://www.dell.com/uk/p/xps-laptops#xps-15-laptops

But again I reccomend  you building your own laptop or PC from either watching techsource an buying parts from amazon or just going to PCSPECIALIST

I'm sorry to tell you that HP is horrible I was just too late there printers suck too and they can get hacked easily and they can access all your documents also FYI: My printer had a printer jam great life being a HP customer isnt it?

Thank you!
