HP Envy x2
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I just reset an HP Envy x2 13. The detachable keyboard WAS working, but now after reset it isn't.

HP Envy x2 keyboard not working after reset

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

Couple of questions ...

1) How did you do the reset? Was this using the HP Recovery Manager function? Or was this using the MS Windows Reset function? Asking because only the first one generally works.

2) Do you have a USB port and a keyboard to connect to it? If so, consider running the diagnostics mentioned in this post:  http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03463381

Good Luck

Thank you for your response. I've resolved the problem. The laptop came without instructions and when I looked up the manual I found out how to set up blutooth on keyboard. This is a laptop that buyers really need to purchase with the manual. DX
