HP HealthCheck does not work...

I have a HP Pavilion a6009n Desktop running Vista. I've noticed that the HP HealthCheck program is acting weird and doesn't scan. I hit the "scan" button and it flashes on my screen for half a second but it doesn't scan at all. I found a sort of solution on some site where it said to uninstall the Active Support Library and reinstall it but I can't find a link to do it.I think it's something like --c:\swsetup\sp39516\setup.exe,   Any ideas?

Try uninstalling Active Support Library and reinstall the it again from: http://h30155.www3.hp.com/helpandsupport/

Steps to resolve this issue:


1.  Go here:  http://h30155.www3.hp.com/helpandsupport/
2.  Download and run the HP Active Support Library update.
3.  Download and run the HP Help and Support Center update.
4.  Re-scan using HP Health Check and the problem should be solved!

I have tried all the solutions recommended aside from uninstalling Active Support first because it's not there.  Did I misunderstand something?  I have never been able to update Health Check ever since I got the computer a year ago.  Please advise!  Thanks!
