Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Purchased a new desktop and progressed through the Set up procedure. When the new computer booted up to the Windows desktop screen I discovered that the new keyboard was displaying the wrong character when I typed in Url addresses in Internet Explorer. I also tried typing in Notepad and Word, still the same resoults. If i type a B the screen shows an X. I ran the Keyboard test in BIOS and nthe Keyboard failed with a code of PG9KX0-8L58L8-XD4F7F-G00E03. The new desktop is no good to me if I can't type in Word or the Internet.

Thanks, Barry

which gives you a "warranty" that all the parts are good.

Try a different keyboard with your computer.

Try your keyboard on a different computer (desktop or laptop).

If it still malfunctions, contact HP, to exercise the warranty.
