I just need a solution, if no one can I'll figure out a solution myself and share it for others who have the issue later on.

I want a solution in my particular situation.  The southbridge went out prior to me buying it, no onboard sata functionality...  They say it will only recover via onboard sata ports for CD, since the bios recovery boot block does not contain the Hardware ID stored in the BIOS for the PCIe x1 sata adapter.

So my OPTIONS are USB if you could fill me in on that at all?

Or Floppy...

I'd prefer someone who actually has recovered AMI bios before...?  Not just guessing.

I recovered HP Phoenix BIOS easy over USB, it's the AMI BIOS which is far different recovery procedure.

*UPDATE*

Setup floppy A: on the M2N78-LA GL8E with the v5.22 renamed to HPBIOS.ROM... Boot up PC, short Floppy A: Click, then nothing.

Setup DVD-RW on PCIe #1 x16 slot via PCIe x1 SATA Adapter to the DVD-RW Drive.  Placed the blank DVD-RW with only HPBIOS.ROM and AMIBOOT.rom (Renamed v5.22 Twice as backup), booted up PC, detecting activity on the DVD-RW drive like the disc is spinning... Tried CTRL+HOME then Power to force Update, nothing.  It's been running for hours now, the PC that is just no VIDEO, no BEEPS,  no PS2 Keyboard Activity (Unless u unplug quick and plug back in), Quick Click of the Floppy no activity, No Activity light on DVD-RW once booted...
