Hi @Tyrany,

Thanks for becoming a member of the HP Support Forums. I understand you are having an issue with a new video card "GeForce GTX 950" that you added. I will be glad to help you.

I would like to let you know there may be speed issues as the motherboard is PCI Gen 2 and the GTX 950 is PCI gen 3. The card should still work but only at PCI Gen 2 speeds.

Angelica motherboard specifications

GTX 950 Specs

I would remove this card and test the power supply is working correctly.

If working then reinstall the video card.

Go to GeForce and check for the latest drivers for windows 10.

Please keep me informed of how things went.

If you require further assistance, let me know and I will gladly do all I can to help you.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue by marking this post as "Accept as Solution".

Sorry I got into this late.

The problem stems from the h8-1214 circa 2012 was shipped with WIN 7 and does not support UEFI BIOS graphic cards like the GTX 950.  MSI does offer hybrid cards with the proper Legacy BIOS (via a switch).

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..
