HP Pavilion HPE h8-1360t CTO D
Microsoft Windows XP (64-bit)

Hello,

I would like to buy a graphic card upgrade for my HP Pavilion HPE h8-1360t desktop. My current graphic card is becoming very noisy. Time to time we play games on this desktop, and the current board does not handle a lot of frames per sec.

I am not looking at the best possible card, I am looking at something decent, that would eliminate the noise because new, and that would be  faster than the default one.

Thank you,

Best Regards,

Dan

@Daniel38,

Here is the specs page. You need to determine what card (GPU)  is installed now. Please understand that model is circa 2011, and as such, is not UEFI BIOS, nor can it be upgraded to UEFI.  That limits it to the mentioned cards in the specs, and some others like the EVGA GTX 660 (IMHO excellent).  But that requires a new power (PSU) supply.

Get back with these:

Installed processor (CPU) , GPU, PSU wattage, and the name of the most serious game played.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..

Hello,

Thank you for your message,

The CPU is an Intel Core I7-3770 @3.40GHz, the current graphic card is a NVIDIA GeForce GT-630; and the PSU is a 300W

Best Regards,

Dan
