HP Elite Slice
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Intel Graphics Driver-64 bit for Windows x64 OSs Softpaq #SP78717 ver.21.20.16.4551Ap1 keeps wanting to install after each installation (successful), so it's stuck in a loop not applying the update.

How to resolve?

I had the same scenario.  I read the readme.txt file located in C:\SWSETUP\sp78717 and noticed that Device manager was showing that the correct Drivers for the  HD Graphics 530 (under Display adapters) was actually installed (Driver Version: 21.20.16.4551).  I still see sp78717 listed in the HP Support Assistant as needing another install.

The same thing is also happening to me on a HP ProDesk 600 G2. Device Manager shows Intel HD Graphics 530 Driver Version: 21.20.16.4551 is installed. But HP Support Assistant keeps wanting to install. A little annoying!

So, why is it that we/others have to keep posting in places like here with no resolve?

Hellllllllllooooooooooo HP, are you alive and supporing your customers?
