HP t410 thinclients stop redirecting USB devices after profile update

t410 thinclient
Linux

HI everyone,

We have a USB redirection problem with HP t410 thinclients. In our site we use Xenapp with HP t410, t510 and t520 clients.

Some of our t410 clients have a signal recorder conected to an USB port.

This USB recorder needs to be redirected manually on the thinclient(USB Manager\Devices\..).

This redirection stays on until a profile or software update.

After the client reboots for the second time the USB recorder is not redirected anymore.

USB recorder class is 03 (Human Interface Device)

HP t410 has the latest firmware: Z6A44019

I tried:

-different usb ports, same issue

-3 t410 thinclients with the same issue

-force redirection of class 3 USB devices from profile editor(root\usb\Classes\Human Interface Device\State changed from 0 to 1)

-different registry setting from profile editor

This issue is fixed for HP t510 and T520 with the force redirection of class 03 usb devices.

The 510 and 520 thinclients use firmware levels T6X51007 and T6X52011.

Did anyone else seen this?

Is there a way to force redirection of a USB device based on PID and VID?

Or will be released any more firmware updates for t410?

Thank you in advance

Cata.
