HP w2207h... Can't Get Pivot To Work?

Hi guys... I purchased this monitor about 2 weeks ago.  It works fine except the pivot does not work.

When I try to switch it manually using the mydisplay it still wont work.  I'll click on "portrait" and nothing will happen.

Just now I tried installing the latest version of MyDisplay (not the one that came with the disc), and during installation it said "installing pivot".  This got my hopes up, but when it restarted following installation, my system crashed everytime it loaded windows and rebooted.  I had to reboot in safe mode and restore my PC to before I installed the drivers, and then I even tried installing the mydisplay again.  Same result.

How can this be fixed?  This would be useful to me as I do a lot of audio editing.

Re: HP w2207h... Can't Get Pivot To Work?

the pivot of the machine or the screen

if the screen does not do automaticly

way of doing that

you can adjust it manualy go to control panel

and look for the NVIDIA and click it

and select advance and select ok

on the left side of the column

select rotate display

there you can set the way the display will look

The HP MY DISPLAY is a tricky one. Remove the old version and download it here. Do not click save. Click RUN. Let it install and go through the 8 steps to set the monitor.

Install the monitor driver first.

Re: HP w2207h... Can't Get Pivot To Work?

Go to the control panel and click on Table PC settings.  In this, under general, go to calibration and under orientation on the pull down menu select secondary portrait. Hit apply and there you have it.  You can then view all your items vertically on your monitor.   Kinda cool.
