Have file on a disk.Don't know how to save to excel (exel?)

I hope someone can go through the steps to do this process which should be very simple, but I am not good at this computer is new , windows 7 system. Thanks in advance.

First, put the disc in CD/DVD Driver in your computer. Then, in the Message that appears on screen, click Open Folder to view Files. Next, right click mouse over the Excel file and choose Send toMy Documents.

And that’s all. The Excel file is now saved in your Documents Folder.
