When I updated my computer was upgraded to windows 10, the headphone jack was working perfectly. All of a sudden, a few months ago, they wouldn't work. I tried everything that I could find. I tried reinstalling the IDT high definition audio CODEC. When I tried to update it, it came up with an error here: https://puu.sh/r6LQJ/678c26d003.png.
I looked around my computer, and everything was plugged in correctly (I'm pretty sure). The headphone jack still dosen't work right now. It isn't the headphones; I plugged them in on my laptop, and they worked perfectly (also, it was brand new). I need help to fix them. Can someone give me a different method?

Hi there @Somebodyone,
May the Forums be with you! I understand that your audio jack is no longer working. I am happy to give you a hand with this.
Please post the full product number for your computer. See the following, if you need help with that information. HP Desktop PCs - How Do I Find My Model Number, Serial Number or Product Number?
Looking at the error you are getting, from the picture you posted, try going into Device Manager and remove the audio device entirely as well as its driver. Then restart your system and again check in Device Manager and see if the device was found and installed. If not they try scanning for hardware changes and see if the audio is now responding.
Please let me know whether that works for you, and if it does resolve your issue, please mark this post as a solution. Kudos would also be appreciated.

Product number for computer is D6M11AV#ABA
Model Number is 800-030qe
I tried uninstalling the drivers and then rebooting the computer, but there still is no sound coming from headphone jack. With the automatic hardware changes, the system would not let me for the same reason.

Manual hardware changes don't do anything either. When I plug in the headphones, the computer does not recognize the headphones or the microphone. The back microphone jack does work, but I'm not sure where the microphone jack is for the back panel. The front panel mic and headphone jacks don't work.
