How can I backup the recovery partition (D) on my new pc

I need to make a backup copy of the recovery (D) partition since I don't nget a set of disks with the operating system on them in cas the hard drive gets damaged

Hi,

 

You can create 1 set of bootable Recovery Media which would then allow you to reinstall the OS, for example if you needed to replace the HDD.  See the link below for further details.

You could also create a Image Backup of the whole Hard Drive with Macrium Reflect (Free) in the event of a catastrophy.
