How do I crash my computer to start all over?

I am going to sell my computer to a friend and do not want any of my info to be in his hands. Or any of my files of any kind. My computer is HP Pavilion p6243w-b. product number says NY799AA-ABA. Am looking to just wipe the whole thing all my important info is already off of computer.

My suggestion is to do a full recovery of your system. That will wipe t drive and reset the system to factory settings. You can find instructions for this at the link.  You can also do this via your system recovery within your PC.  Best Regards.
