How do I disable password on startup and sleep awake HP pavilion Windows 8

When I first booted up I installed password. There is no one else in my house that I worry about and want to disable password. I went to control panel and checked the no password on sleep. I still get password request on both start up and awakining from sleep. How do I disable password?

I think this is how you do it:

  1. Go to charms (upper right corner with mouse)
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Change PC Settings.
    4. Users.
    5. Switch to Local Account.
    6. Enter a blank password.

If you are into social media, good idea to have a MS acount and login to tie all your social media stuff together on teh Windows Start screen.
