How to make my computer sleep?

I have an HP Pavilion HPE which is running Windows 7.  It's a brand new computer, and I don't know how to make it go to sleep.  Is there a button on the console I can press or an icon I can click?  What do I do?

Re: How to make my computer sleep?

F2 on many keyboards sets the PC to sleep.

Click on the Start button and look to the right. You'll see Shutdown which has other selections.

Or press Ctrl+Alt+ Delete and look in the lower right hand corner.  You'll see a red power button to on.

If you are unsure what your Sleep options are set at, go to the Control Panel --> Power Options and review the settings.
