Hp Pavilion a1630n - no audio device

[ Edited ]

I am currently having the dreaded "no audio device" problem. I have reinstalled the realtek drivers and checked my Bios to see if the card is enabled but that did not help and I am now stumped on what to do. Under the device manger there is no unresolved drivers or anything.

Please help me!

PS: I am guessing you may need more info but I am not sure what to post.

Edit: I forgot to say I am running windows xp sp3
