Last month i had my screen changed because it didn't work anymore. Maybe it has not anything to do with the problem i have now. When i used skype a couple of months ago i could easily talk without having any problems, now when i tried it this afternoon i could hear the other person but she couldn't hear me.
So i looked on your site, on this topic: but the problem is i haven't got the option of 'microphone devices'.
I already tried to redownload the driver of 'IDT high definition audio codec'
If you have any suggestions?

Was the screen a self repair or was it a repair done by HP or an authorized partner?
If it was a repair by HP or an authorized partner, then I would contact them again to have it served. The internal microphone does route from the top of the display panel to the motherboard. If the microphone category is indeed missing, then it may be due to a loose cable connecting the motherboard to the mic.
Do you know if the webcam works?

The webcam is still working.
The PC was repaired by the shop (Saturn) where i bought the computer so maybe i should contact them but the only problem is last i had to wait 3 weeks before i had my computer back bacause they didn't repair it there but somewhere in the Netherlands.

My type of computer is m6-1000sb.
The number is B4A09EA#UUG
I looked it up, and there should be a microphone:
Maybe they replaced my screen that was damaged by a wrong one

Allright I also couldn't find anything of TrueVision HD on my computer. Although the camera itselfs works because another standard program 'Cyberlink cam' is working and skype video als works but the microphone doesn't.

I never doubted there was a microphone.
The microphone has an internal cable that connects it to the motherboard of the system. What I am suggesting as the most likely scenario is that they didn't connect this little cable back to the motherboard when the repair was done. It happens.
Did it work before the repair and never worked after the repair? If so, then the above theory is the most likely cause.
