I want to upgrade the Video Card on my Hp Slimline s5-1014 with a 220w power supply. I can't seem to find more than snippets of info anywhere on the internets. I do not want to upgrade my PSU as budget is an issue at this point in time. My goal is to run civilization 5 which requires a 512 mb card. Is this even possible? A list of available cards would be great if anyone has that available as Newegg doesnt seem to have a way to search wattage.

Charrsasaurus, welcome to the forum.
The truth is, the Slimline models are not meant to be upgraded. The small case does not allow for good airflow. This will cause premature failure of components. Also, it is nearly impossible to find a video card that will run properly with the existing power supply unit (PSU).

I understand that it is made in such a way as not to be easily upgradable but I cannot buy a new computer at this time so a video card upgrade is my only real choice.

Look here at HP Partsurfer for video cards that are used in the newer Slimline models with a 220 watt power supply. These cards were manufactured specially for HP Slimline PCs with 220 watt power supplies.
The GT 530 is probably the best of the cards listed.
