I know that HP often puts out different latest BIOS updates for different systems that use *exactly* the same motherboard. They also tend to have BIOS updates listed only under one version of Windows, nevermind that the updater will run under all Windows versions that were available pre-installed, and often even on versions HP didn't offer pre-installed.

HP is also known to remove BIOS updates and drivers for older systems from their website so when you look for them there's none to be found. Very Apple-ish to try and push people to buy a new HP.

 

I'm after the newest BIOS for this board, no matter what model computer it was used in.

Pavilion p6340f and I already know HP says there are no BIOS updates for *that* model.
