Hello,
I recived an old HP Computer (model unknown) running WinXP. Machine was in very bad condition so I saved few parts.
Motherboard used in this machine is IPIEL-LA rev.1.03 and I'm planning to use this MB with 8GB of RAM (max) and Intel Q6600 CPU and use it to run Windows10 PRO 64bit. Becouse of that I'm a bit worried about BIOS and drivers (not that much about drivers, I hope W10 will support that OOTB).
Can I find somewhere BIOS updates for this motherboard?
Thank you.

Hi:
Looking at the motherboard specs at the link below, that motherboard should run W10 just fine without any BIOS updates necessary.

That motherboard is used in a variety of HP consumer desktop PC's so I can't say which BIOS update you should select from the dozens of models that use that board.

You should be able to determine the exact model # PC the board is from by booting into the BIOS and on the system information window, there should be either the model # of the PC or the product # of the PC.
Once you have that info, you can go to the support and driver page for the model PC the system board came from.

Just saw your post and wanted to let you know I am running that same setup now: Ipiel-LA motherboard (I believe its from a HP DX7500 SFF) with an Intel Q6600 and Windows 10. Only issue I had was no Windows 10 64-bit driver from Intel for the G45 Express set. Microsoft installs a WDDM driver during install that gives good video resolutions (1280x1024 or better) but carries with it no acceleration or rendering for games. I dropped in a Geforce 8800GT 512Meg PCI Express and Nvidia now has a Windows 10 driver that works. World of Warcraft runs great! Hope this helps!
