Installing Official HP memory for HP Pro 3000 SFF and the monitor is blank?

So I got memory from CDW-G and it is official HP memory that is supported for this machine the only difference in the memory sticks is that the original is two sided and the new is one sided

the original is 2GB 2Rx8 PC3-10600U

the new is       2GB 1Rx8 PC3-10600U

I bought three sticks for three different machines (same model) and the memory doesn't want to work, none of the new sticks will work in the machine it just gives me a blank screen.

Any thoughts as to why I am just getting a blank screen when I startup after installing the new memory?

I'm thinking the PC's don't like the single ranked memory.

I would get the dual ranked memory like the kind that originally came with the PC (chips on both sides).

Use the Crucial Memory scanner which will give you the specs you need and you can buy from them if you want as they guarantee compatibilty.
