G7Pavillion 1139
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My hard drive failed on my Pavillion G7 laptop. Ibought a new drive and changed it. Tested my new hard drive and it passes, went to the BIOS screen chaned the boot option to boot on CD/dwr drive. 

 

I made back up discs. I hear them being read. 

I keep getting a no bootable disc found.

 

I also copied the computer on a portable drive.  

 

 In all this somehow I dont think I have copied the OS.

 

The computer had windows 7 premium home version on it.  

 

How can I get an operating system  that will work on my computer?

Immediately after powering on start tapping the Esc key. From the menu that opens tap F9 key. Use arrow key to move to select/highlight CD/DVD drive. Tap Enter key.
