Intel HD 4600 Display Adapter Failure and Recovery

HP Envy 700-230
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Intel Graphics repeatedly fail and then automatically recover.

Events happen when scrolling web browsers (Chrome, Mozilla).

HP Support Assistant says I have the most recently updated drivers.

Intel HD 4600 Display Adapter Failure and Recovery

When I try to use the HP update driver (10.18.15.4256 Rev.A for ENVY 700-230) it forwards me to Intel.

When I try to use the Intel Driver Utility it says I should use the manufacturer's customized driver.

Second note:

The problem occurred with the factory installed version first.

The display crash problems occurred before and after at least one system REFRESH and before I tried a new graphics driver.

I did try to update it once using an Intel-supplied driver (I think that's the version running now) and that did not fix the problem nor did it cause any new problems.
