Is a GTX 750 ti GPU compatible with a Pavilion 500-281 Desktop?

Pavilion 500-281
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I own a HP Pavilion 500-281 Desktop which has a Pegatron  Memphis-S motherboard. I want to know if my motherboard is 100% compatible with GTX 750 ti graphics card. It requires more power (the HP desktop comes with a 300 W PSU) and I also want to know if a Corsair VS450 Watts power supply will work with my system.

I would not recommend the VS450, it's not certified energy efficient. The Corsair CX500 is the same price, and is better. As for the card, it's a good mix with the PSU. You will need to understand "Secure Boot".

My most humble apology, although your unit is circa Jan 2014, UEFI was implimented Oct 2012.

Run msinfo from the search window.  Does it verify Legacy or UEFI.

If Legacy, the EVGA GTX 550Ti, 660, or 670 with a Corsair CX600 is your answer.
