KVS200, welcome to the forum.

 

Here is a thread that may help you solve your problem.  Read the post by ShlomiL.  It is a possible solution for OSX 10.4, but it may work for 10.5.8, also.

Thank you for your help "old_geekster!"  Unfortunately, none of the suggestions in the thread you supplied helped.  I tried everything, but to no avail.  Looks like I'm going to have to return the printer (BUMMER!).  But I do really appreciate your help!
