Is there an off switch for safe mode?

My pc will not start in normal startup mode when I select it from the (F8) menu. How can I turn off safe mode?

Hello jdolrntn3, I'm not exactly sure of the question. Are you saying your computer will not perform a normal boot to the desktop, and you are entering the Safe Mode and from the Safe Mode menu, you select to boot normally, and the system will not boot?

If this is the senario, it seems the operating system may have incurred a driver issue or other issue that prevents if from booting normally.

When booting to Safe Mode, only the necessary drivers are loaded to get the system to boot.

You might try selecting the last known good booting option and see if this corrects the issue.

If not, you may need to perform a repair reinstall of the operating system.

Just need more information, perhaps a Model number, etc.
