I have been a fan of HP ever since but now I am having some trouble. The problem was the video card that was installed on my system gave up already. I am trying to find the best GPU to replace it. I have replaced my PSU to CX500 just in case that I would need it for my GPU.

I'm not a technical person so I need your help guys/gals.

  • What is the maximum GPU I can put on my computer? (nvidia is what I am aiming to buy)
  • What should I be looking when I buy a GPU?

Hi @cb99,

As I understand you need information on upgrading Graphics card on your HP Pavilion Desktop PC,

No worries, as I'll be glad to help you,

I did check the Motherboard specifications and found that it's an integrated graphics card. However, there is one PCI Express x16 slot which is available for graphics card.

So you can purchase a graphics card which supports PCI Express x16. Moreover, you would need to check for the power supply.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you need any further assistance. I'll be more than happy to help.

Eagerly waiting for your response!

I hope you have a good day ahead,

And Feel free to ask your queries as this forum has some of the best people in the world available and ready to help.

Regards,
