Missing media disks

I need to reinstall the operaating system for my HP RP5000 from scratch but I do not have the original windows CD nor do I have the MS POS software to reinstall for my business. I have checked the support center and can download all software and drivers for the HP system but cannot find the associated MS products.


I have the original packing boxes and have the following items listed which may be the oned I am looking for :


340192-B28 - Kit CD rp5000 restore v23.7

394378-002 Kit CD win xp pro sp2b

461090-B21 kit cd supplemental microsoft

337855-B26 kit doc library cd rp5000


Please help!

If these were the discs that came with the unit inside the box.

Then all you have to use are

340192-B28 - Kit CD rp5000 restore v23.7

394378-002 Kit CD win xp pro sp2b


First use the Restore CD and boot it from the disc and continue with the installation.

Then when it prompts you for the second disc or OS disc, at that point remove the Restore disc

and then insert the Win XP pro SP2 disc and continue with the installation.


NOTE: Make sure the restore disc is used first to install and then the Windows XP discs to install the OS so that you

will not have any licensing or drivers issue.


Click on " Kudos Star " icon on left hand side if resolved.
