I have two issues. My monitor screen has a blue cast to the screen instead of the normal true color apperance and my desktop icons keep moving to the left side of the screen. It is so annoying! How can I fix these issues. Any help would be appreciated.

I understand that you are getting display issue.

Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,

Please try an alternate monitor to understand if this is either a hardware or a software failure, if the issue does not appear on the alternate monitor, you may need to replace the display assembly on your computer, if the issue appears on the alternate monitor/TV as well, re-install the graphics card drivers & update it from the official HP Website: Click here.

If you don’t have an alternate monitor, I recommend checking if the issue appears on the BIOS screen (restart the computer and tap on F10 to access BIOS)

This would confirm if it's either a hardware failure or an issue with the graphics card drivers so we may reinstall and update the drivers to fix the issue as mentioned above.

If the issue persists on BIOS as well, please try with a TV to identify if it's the LCD or the motherboard/video card failure,

Reply with the result of the above-mentioned steps, for further assistance.

My HP Pavilion MODEL p7-1037c is causing a blue tint on the monitor.  I switched monitors.  It's not the monitor.  It's the PC.  I searched for updates to my ATI Radeon HD4200 display adapter.  The automatic search said that Windows determined the driver software for my device is up to date.  Blue tint is intermittent.   Can you help?

It was the cable.  I replaced the cable which I had inadvertantly bent and pressed against the wall by my desk as I pushed the CPU away to make space.  I'm using a spare HDMI cable now.  Screen hasn't gone blue so far.  Hopefully it will stay this way.
