Hi, I upgraded my system from windows xp to windows 8 pro. After upgrading to windows 8 pro i dont have an audio driver or sound driver. I would really appreciate if someone from this forum can send me the original updated audio driver.

Here are the specs for your HP Pavilion a1224n Desktop Computer. HP only supports Windows XP 32-bit on the a1224n computer. According to the specs, your computer uses an integrated Realtek ALC 880 High Definition audio chipset
Please go to Realtek and download the High Definition Audio CODEC driver for Windows 8. Check "Accept", click "Next", and select the download location for the first or second item on list... depending on if your Wndows 8 install is 32-bit or 64-bit.
Please send KUDOs
