Pavillion Elite HPE-360UK

Need to replace video card NVIDIA GeForce GT 230 as Fan not working well - noisy and vibrating (already carried out all recomended housekeeping). Cannot find direct replacement - any suggestions ?

 

Label on Crad gives following details

CT: PBLNQ210ZYY00P

REV: M14
HP PN: 533216-002
SP# 586381-002

AS we have properly understood your issue you are facing issue in the video card replacement:

 

 

 

I think this would be a good subsitute for your current one.  1 GB of memory, but I think a better GPU.

Hi, @Smartchap :

 

Assuming your PC has a 300W power supply, I believe this card would be a suitable replacement.

 

It's pretty pricey though.

The BIOS in your PC is too old to go with anything newer.

 

You can also try eBay and see if you can get a used but tested and working GT 230.

 

If you don't mind going with a less powerful card, then go with the GT 610, which is a reliable and inexpensive card.
