Re: No Wireless Network Found - HP Envy M6-1105dx

Verigy that all cables are connected properly and do this:

Flush the DNS cache and restore MS's Hosts file ...
Copy and paste these lines in Note pad.

@Echo on
pushd\windows\system3\drivers\etc
attrib -h -s -r hosts
echo 127.0.0.1 localhost>HOSTS
attrib +r +h +s hosts
popd
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
netsh winsock reset all
netsh int ip reset all
shutdown -r -t 1
del %0

Save as flush.bat to your desktop. Right click on the flush.bat file to run it as Administrator.

Your computer will reboot itself.

Re: No Wireless Network Found - HP Envy M6-1105dx

In addition to this everytime i done the Lauch HP Network Check it gave me possible root causes:

- No wireless network in the range (210)

- No network detected (102)

:-(

Re: No Wireless Network Found - HP Envy M6-1105dx

Look in your Device Manager to see if there are any yellow marks on any of your other network adaptors?  If there is, let me know.

Re: No Wireless Network Found - HP Envy M6-1105dx

[ Edited ]

Windows key + X, type IPconfig /all and tell me the results.

In the same command prompt type  Ping 127.0.0.1, let me know the results.

Also C:\ netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

EDIT: Reboot the computer after completing all of these.

Re: No Wireless Network Found - HP Envy M6-1105dx

Not good

The drivers are probably Windows generic drivers so get your driver from here:

http://www.atheros.cz/atheros-wireless-download.php?chipset=60&system=8

If unable

Here is another working device driver for the Qualcomm Atheros AR9485  Simply unzip the file and run the installer and the wireless will start working.

Perhaps to set up a new network connection manually through the control panel with the help of this site:
