Solved!
P6370t (Capable of reading SDHC)
11-26-2012 03:00 PM

Hello,
I'm sure this may be an easy question. Simply stated, "Can a P6370t read SDHC"? The card slot on the aforesaid system only shows a SD card Slot. Any and all replies appreciated. Thank you.

Here are the original factory specs and configurable options for your HP Pavilion p6370t CTO Desktop Computer. According to the specs, your computer was introduced for sale on or around 07-Jan-2010. I have a HP p6130y (intro date = 13-May-2009) and a HP p6320y (intro date = 23-Dec-2009) that use the same card reader assembly as your computer and both of mine read SDHC cards without issue.

Thank you very much Frank. It is most appreciated that you have provided a positive response. If you have some extra time, could you elaborate on this subject briefly? Namely, would the card reader, or USB, 1, or 2; be contingent upon reading the memory card? Irrespective of this, I have confirmed a positive reply to your response. Thank you again.

If I understand you correctly... you are asking if the memory card being read is dependent on the card reader or the USB port???
The card being read relies on the capabilities of the card reader. The USB connection is just a data pipeline to the computer.

Thank you very much Frank. I truly appreciate your secondary response to my question.
Postscript: Do you believe I had some minor difficulty to confirm the 'kudos' star. Apparently, you must click in the "white" area. Sorry about that.
