HP Pavilion Series p7-1414
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Ever since the update to Windows 10, every 10-15 minutes the wireless internet signal will drop out. When I troubleshoot the issue it resets the wireless adapter and works for the next 10-15 minutes before dropping out again. I have check and reset the router twice and even called Verizon who said that the router is working fine. I checked for the most up to date driver and it says it is up to date.

Hi:

There are no W10 drivers on the support page for your PC.

According to the specs, it comes with a Ralink wireless adapter.

This would be the latest driver for that model wlan card if it is not the same as you have now...

Package contains the driver installation package for the Mediatek (Ralink) wireless LAN Controller in the supported notebook models running a supported operating system.

The driver did not work. I even restarted the computer and 10 minutes later the wifi dropped out again.

I would purchase an external usb wireless network adapter if that driver didn't fix the problem.

I use this one on my HP desktop PC's.  Works just fine on W10.
