Hi EDKARL, the product key should be available in the documentation of your product.

Here's a guide on finding your product key: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/product-key-windows-10

I need my product key for windows 8. I purchased the all in one from Office Depot and it came with windows 8, but now I need to reactive it and my computer doesn't have the key anywhere on it 😞

Actually, YES -- it does still have the original product key -- as that was embedded into the UEFI firmware in the motherboard by HP.  You can retrieve that key by following these instructions:  Product Key - Find for Windows 8

As to activating Win10, HOW that is done depends on the version you installed.

If it is version 10240, it can only be activated by installing over the top of an existing Win8 installation.  If you use install media, boot from that, and install that way, not only will it NOT activate, it will NEVER activate!

If it is version 10586, commonly known as the November 2015 Update, then it will accept you manually entering the Win87 product key.

Good Luck
