Product: Pavilion p6331p
I have a pavilion p6331p that worked great 3 or 4 months ago I went out of town working so it sat with no power now when I turn it on it comes on but there is no display

Does the PC actually start?

 

Does anything happen (LEDS light up, sound from hard disk) when you press the power button?

 

Is there a green led at the rear of the PC where the PSU is?

 

Have you plugged anything else into the wall socket that the PC uses to verify that voltage and current is there?

Yes everything comes on and powers up I've changed video cords and monitors there is still no communication between the computer and monitor

Which output to a video display are you using?   The motherboard has DVI or the VGA.

In the following image #3 is VGA and #13 is DVI

Have you considered buying or sourcing a low power video card that has legacy BIOS support and installing it?

 

If the video out chip on the motherboard has failed, upgrading to a video card may be a low-cost workaround.

 

If it is within your budget, you should consider that as old as your POC is, it may be time to give serious consideration to sourcing a replacement PC.

It has dvi and vga I've got other pcs just thought I'd ask around. Is there a way to reset cmosfor and get video back

Have you tried both?

 

 

Resetting CMOS isn't going to cure what may be a bad video chip on the motherboard

Then the motherboard's video chip is probable non-functional.

 

I suggested a workaround and other options in a pevious reply.
