Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Please Guide If a systems restore on my desk top to sell it, so i was deleting all personal files.  but after hours later all i have is a black screen and a spinning white circle.

Recommend you do a hard reset on the computer. Turn the computer On and keep tapping F2 repeatedly on startup to enter System diagnostics. Run a system test on your computer. Click here. If all the test pass, please try this interactive guided troubleshooter to resolve the issue. Click here. Also, refer to this HP Article for other troubleshooting steps.

Let me take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums.

I read that post deleting you personal files, there is a black screen with a spinning cursor. I'll be glad to help you with this case.

I could not understand you post clearly. You have mentioned a few troubleshooting steps in your post. Have you already attempted those steps?

Have you run the hardware diagnostics on the computer?

To provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Please let me know the exact product model no. This link will help you to find the model no: http://hp.care/2bygf7l
  • You may try to repair the Windows operating system before reinstalling ti completely. Please refer to this link to know how to perform a Windows refresh.

NOTE: Though this link provides steps for Win8, the steps will work for Win10 too.

If you would still like to order the recovery media to reinstall Windows then you need to reachout to our HP phone support.

I sincerely hope this fixes the issue. Let me know the results. Good luck! 🙂
